Is piracy killing the video game industry?

With piracy being an issue for different industries such as film, music, and video games, it might occur to us that at some point of time: "Is piracy killing the video game industry?"
There are different motives for piracy and the most common reason for this act is for earning money. Because of this, people that cannot afford the actual game at its original price could buy the game at a very cheap price, or even just download it online. Does it affect the sales of the games in the industry?

I believe it does affect the sales in the industry at a minimal level that it isn't prominent in data and statistics. Although it does have some negative effects, it also has a positive effect for the game being pirated. Some people do download and play pirated games just to test it out first before actually buying the game itself. This includes games that has exclusive online features that could only be accessed by having an original copy of the game itself. This includes Grand Theft Auto V and Dark Souls franchise.


I believe that piracy isn't killing the video game industry and it won't at some point in the future. It's even spreading knowledge of the game through means of piracy albeit illegal. I kind of see piracy as an advertisement for the actual game because it doesn't actually restrict people from buying the original game itself. There will be those good games that are worth buying and even people who pirate would want to show their support to the game developers by buying the actual game or even purchase some merchandise from the developers.

Main problems with pasta as a food

It's because of constant need and desire for new taste and new food. But does that really equate to noodles and pastas being cruelly treated and discriminated?



In the research of scientists from Wharton University of Pennslyvania, they have studied the behavior of human beings around pastas and spaghetti and in their findings they found that in every 10 persons, there will be 4 who are intrinsically hateful of noodles which is very saddening but the other 6 showed love and compassion for the masterpiece of God.





Every strand of noodles deserve the love and care like of a mother to a newborn baby.

Afghan woman executed by stoning for adultery

A young Afghan woman has been stoned to death after she was accused for the crime of adultery.

The extradition of Cecil's killer is being sought

Zimbabwe will seek the extradition of an American dentist who killed a lion that was lured out of a national park and caused international outrage, said a Cabinet minister on Friday.

Dentist Walter James Palmer was even more accused by environment, water, and climate minister as he was hurting the image of Zimbabwe.

Oppah Muchinguri stated on a news conference, "Unfortunately it was too late to apprehend the foreign poacher as he had already absconded to his country of origin. We are appealing to the responsible authorities for his extradition to Zimbabwe so that he be made accountable."

Palmer stated that he was accompanied by two guides along with him to ensure that the hunt is legal.
The two Zimbabweans, a professional hunter and a landowner, have been arrested in the killing of the lion. Palmer was keeping a low profile in the meantime but on Friday U.S. federal wildlife authorities said that they have been contacted by the representative of the Minnesota dentist.

Palmer was believed to have lured the lion out of the park and shot it with an arrow using a bow, and tracked the lion after some time and finished it off with a gun, they said.

The cabinet minister is seeking to have Palmer be tried on the court of Zimbabwe as he had violated the laws of a foreign land, not his.

There had been no specified charges yet if Palmer is to be tried and convicted on the court of Zimbabwe. The penalty is not yet determined.

Cecil's head which was severed by the hunters, has been confiscated by wildlife authorities.

I pretty much neglected that I am already in the 3rd year of college level

I applied for a part-time job during the summer vacation before the first classes of the first semester. I had been busy and careless about studies, thinking that I could rely completely on stock knowledge. I forgot that I already have major subjects that I cannot afford to fail. I want to improve on my studies and I want my work life to be healthful for me too.

I see them both as development for my experience and wisdom, but it sometimes feels like I am being torn apart.

It's at times like these that a day off from work and studies would be most needed and appreciated. What you thought that a two-day day off every week wasn't enough, will be more than enough when you are stressed and pressured by work and studies.
